Yesterday was Mandis' housewarming party. It was so much fun and even though her flat is kinda small it was nice, I would live there ;D I was inspired to do a new kind of make-up I usually don't do and this is the result:And in different lightingFor these pictures I'm wearing false eyelashes on my upper lashes :)

So yesterday I went to see Avatar in 3D with C. I liked it, even though I thought it was too long and it was a kind of Pocahontas meets The Lord of the Rings in space :D But yea, the actors were great and visually it was really amazing. Check out how cool we looked in our 3D-glasses
Yeaaah :D I also found some supercute bikinis in Seppälä on Wednesday, if I wore bikinis, I would definitely buy these ;)On Wednesday I wore sunglasses! I always feel so glamorous in sunglasses :)

And this pic is from last Saturday when it was so freaking cold I wore a furr hat risking to look like a granny, but I think it looked cute :D
I guess that's that for now, today I'm going to Mandi's housewarming party :)

Who wants to guess what day it is today?
It's finally a "warm" enough day to not wear the superthick winterjacket that I've been wearing for the last 2 months. And don't get me wrong, I really like that jacket but two months of only that was getting a bit boring. So today, since it was "only" -4 in the morning, now it's -2, I could finally take out my other jacket dedicated to degrees between -5 and 5 :D
In a week I'll be going to Austria with my parents to ski, it's going to be so much fun, I love skiing :) And tonight and finally going to go see Avatar with C, it's about time hahah.

I went swimming today, yay me :D After that I went to take S's boots to the shoemaker to fix the zipper on one of them. And since I already was at the mall I decided to look around the shops for a bit. Bad desicion. Cause I found a pair of jeans that I really liked, the kind of "boyfriend jeans"
Haha, my ancle looks so freaky :D I didn't buy them though, I have no money haha. But I'm thinking I might revard myself with these if I stay with my work-out routine ;D I need motivation hehe.

I wanna go shopping!

Hi~
Today there's another snowstorm, yay. Notice the sarcasm. Haha. Anyway, I wanna go shopping. I went to H&M yesterday with C and found all sorts of cool stuff ;_; I feakin' hate not having money for shopping.
I'm sore all over from swimming yesterday, weird, I shouldn't get sore but maybe it's because I did quite alot of backstroke which I don't usually do.
So today I' meeting up with Belinda for some coffee, that will be fun :) We haven't had a good talk since before Christmas so we'll have all sorts of styff to talk about.

Lazy Sunday~

So yesterday I was at an old friends' birthday party at a club in Helsinki that I would never go to usually. mostly because it's so expensive and the music isn't that great. Anyway yesterday was really fun even though I left early, I was just so tired. I don't know why but lately I've been so tired, I'm guessing it's because of the cold because I do get alot of sleep. Yesterday I was wearing the kind of make-up I don't wear often so I wanted to take som pictures and I think it looked pretty nice, also I finally got a really good wing in yhe outer corner of my eye with my eyeliner. I almost always mess that part up! So here are some pictures, hope you like them:

I'm soooooo fucking tired of this winter, I'm cold all the time even though I have lots and lots of layers of clothes, warm boots, a cap and gloves etc... Cuz it was -22 degrees outside today when I woke up!! With a wind of 16m/s and that's ALOT! I'm so mad, which you might notice from this post :D And I can only use a few pieces of my wardrobe, not to mention only 2 pairs of my shoes, it's so freaking annoying. Buuut on a more positive note, my mum said she would pay for my hairdresser next month. Yesterday when I was supposed to study I made cupcakes with C, they were sooo good, omnomnomnom
And me on Wednesday when I got a new piercing in my ear~

Woodpecker

I saw a woodpecker today when I got home from coffee with Daniel. Well, I had coffee and he had pizza :D I'm supposed to write an essay for English class about whatever interests me, but that is so hard. Why couldn't he give us a specific subject? I think I'm gonna write about Japanese street fashion though. I wonder how interesting a man in his 50's from Sierra Lione will find that though, haha. Well, take care!

Tomorrow my aunt is coming to visit us and we're gonna have dinner. It will be fun since she lives in Sweden so I don't see her that often. And on Saturday I'm doing a small photo shoot with Tia so be expecting a new header sometime next week (probably :D) I need to plan a cool outfit, but I know I'll be wearing my new fur jacket <3 Hopefully we'll get some awesome pictures :) We're also gonna make sushi and watch the rest of season 2 of Hana yori dango, I can't get enough of that show ;D Take care!

No glamour

I ended up going to an after-party yesterday, so I came home at about 5.30 am. I had so much fun though. I walked home from the after-party, that took me about an hour ^^; So I'm really tired now, especially since I got like 3 hours of sleep the night before. I just couldn't get any sleep >.< A bunch of senior citizens told me people used to put salt in their coffee! Ewww. But I guess that's how times change. And a very unglamorous picture of me before going swimming ^^

Work related stuff

Heyy, I had work today, I'm back to my old schedule again after 3 weeks of having work on Thursdays. I've worked at this same place for about two years now, and still it hits me how rude people are. My job is just to receive people's coats and stuff and sometimes tell them where they can find stuff in the house (it's like an education center). And seriously, I always smile and say hello to everyone who comes there and some people don't even reply to me. And when I give the their coats they don't say thanks or anything, maybe just grunt something. Fortunately these people are a minority but still it gets me down. I do realize that it's my job to be nice but hell it's not like I don't have bad days and I still manage to be happy when there's a customer. I don't mean that everyone has to love me, but they could at least say thanks when I do something for them. And if they're really in a a bad mood they don't have to take it out on me. And sometimes they just walk behind the counter and ignore me! Sometimes they say they'll take their coats themselves and I'm like okay... What the hell? I mean, it's note like I walk to the cash register at the store and say "I'll just check these out myself", hello it's what they get payed for to do. I don't understand how some people think.
Anyway, to some happier notes, I bought jeans on Saturday. They're from Lee and I got them for 40 euros and let's face it, in Finland that's a real bargain! I've had these before in a size 30 so when I lost weight I had to throw them away, but at that point they were all worn out and torn, and not in a good way. Anyway, these new ones are a size 27! I can't believe I fit into that size, well they are a bit tight so now I have a really good motivator to get in shape ;) Hmm, speaking of which, I didn't go swimming today after all, I was too tired. But I'm definitely going tomorrow!
And lastly a few pictures of me today, I'm wearing my new jeans, maybe you can' tell very well but I'll get some better pictures when I have time :)
Now I'm going to bed because I have to get up at 6.30 to go swimming.

Tomorrow I want to go swimming, I need exercise :D I started watching the second season of Hana yori dango today with Tia and M, we went to get some Chinese food and candy and started watching. Well I'm gonna go sleep now, good night.

My jacket came!!

I got my jacket today <3
Unfortunately it went through customs, I had to pay 23 euros more, I'm thinking about filing for personal bankruptcy :D I got some extra presents with it, flyers, a small bag which I'll use as a make-up pouch, a card from Megu and two shopping bags. This is why I love shopping from Japanese stores, you always get extra presents :) And the message from Megu was so sweet, she was sorry for her poor English and said something about Finland being cold :D

Sweet independence~

Noo, I haven't moved to my own flat, unfortunately. I'm crashing at my brother's place cuz he's in Brazil!! Damn that guy :D But it's okay since I get to stay here for the moment :)
Yesterday I met up with Tia, we bought some Chinese and came here and talked to S for almost 2 hours, I miss her... Afterwards we started watchng the first season of Hana yori fango which I've talked about before.It's still so good even though I've watched it so many times :D Hahaha, and now I got Tia hooked on it :D We're gonna watch season 2 some weekend. Hot guys and a great storyline go a long way ;D
On another note, I passed my politics exam!!! I can't believe it, seriously, I was so sure that I wouldn't pass it. I'm sooo happy right now. Tomorrow I have English class. My professor is so funny, he took pictures of everyone on the firts lesson cuz his memory is so bad he can't remeber how we look or our names without help from pictures to memorize :D He seems like a good professor though so I kinda look forward to his lessons. Well, I'll go sleep now :)
