So Christmas is over and soon it will be the year 2010! I can't believe this year is already over, although alot has happened. I've met some new friends and done some serious soul searching. I've learned important hings about life and about myself and I'm always trying to grow as a person and work on my flaws. I've also learned that striving for perfection won't make me happy, and if I continue to do that I'll never be truly happy. I'll never be perfect anyway :)

I can't believe it's Christmas eve tomorrow, totally doesn't feel like it. The only clue is that my mom is superstressed which makes her mean :'D
I was going to dye my hair yesterday, but I chickened out at the last moment and didn't go red :D I did renew my darker layers so atleast that looks good now :) I'll probably do the red after new years so be patient with me ^^

Hair...

I've decided to dye my hair :) the lower layers will still be dark brown but the upper will be...RED hahaa :D Tomorrow I'm buying the colours and since they will be my christmas prsent from myself I'll have to wait until after the 24th to dye my hair. C will actually be the one to do it, she's my personal colourist :D I can't wait to finally do something to my hair, it's been almost 4 months since I last dyed it and for me that's like ages ;D
The weekend was fun once again :) On Friday we had J's going-away party and I was in bed at 5am ^^ And on Saturday we just watched some movies because everyone was so tired and didn't feel like going out. We watched Kung-fu panda and Bad Santa. I love Kung-fu panda but the humor in Bad Santa does not do it for me :)

I'm having a presentation about plate tectonics today, in English! Those of you who don't know what that is, please check it out here. It's really quite interesting :)
Hmm, I'm not feeling those antibiotics, they're making me tired and I can't eat whenever I want (which might be a good thing :D) but my point is that I'm hungry all the time because I know I can't eat all the time, does that make sense? I can't even drink coffee, because I always take milk with my coffee and you can't drink milk or eat two hours before taking the meds or one hour before. I know it's not that long, but I'm used to eating small portions several times a day.
Also, on another note, I don't like it when people who only wear brand clothes are called stylish, I mean if I had the money I could go around buying all those clothes you see in magazines and make an exact copy of what the models were wearing. I mean sure that means that you can spot cool outfits but personally I think it's more rewarding to be inspired buy those photos and then create your own style :)

Today I'm going to go see my dad's choir concert! Exciting haha. I've never heard my dad sing in a choir before so it should be fun. He's so nervous though, he's been practicing so much :) J is coming too to keep me company and cuz she loves men's choirs ^^

Good morning!
It's cold again, about -15 degrees! When it's this cold it's hard to be fashionable and really the smartest thing you can do is dress warmly and comfortably like this :D
I'm wearing jeans leggins, my new hoodie from ginatricot and of course wool socks over regular ones. And this is before any outerwear :) This is with outerwear:My beloved and superwarm Tommy Hilfiger moonboots and my huuuuge winter jacket fom H&M many years back :)
I went swimming today but for some reason it was full of school kids and they were all over the place so it messed up my pace because they couldn't choose the right lane for their speed grrr :D
I'm going to make some fried rice from the leftovers from yesterday, yummy.

Winter!

Hey,
it's finally winter with snow! The downside is that it's really cold atm, about -12 degrees *shivers* But I do prefer this to wet mush when the temperature is just above 0. And it was actually very pretty when I went in to town today to buy event tickets for my cousin. The sun was shining and I felt once again that Helsinki is my hometown and a nice one at that. Now, that doesn't mean that I don't ever want to leave, which I think I've proven with my endless complaints about saving money for Tokyo next year ^^ I love travelling but I also feel at home here in Finland. I just think that by travelling you can experience so many wonerful things that you wouldn't if you just stay put where you were born. Also meeting people from different cultures is fascinating to me.
Today I'm going to make chicken with chili and garlic~ I don't agree very well with spicy food but just a tad of heat is okay.

Hey~
It's Sunday again and the weekend is already over :/ and I have a stest next week and loads of other things to do so I'm going to be really busy.
On Friday I went swimming and after that I met C and we went to take care of some school stuff, I took out three books that I have to read during the Holidays. We also waited at the bank for 45 minutes so C could get her tax refund and then we went shopping. It's been so long since I bought anything so I bought 2 hoodies and a onepiece, all from ginatricot. I was so happy to find those hoodies, I've been searching for long and slightly oversized hoodies for over a yaer so I had to buy them now :) On Friday evening C and I met up with Sanna to watch The Hangover, that movie was hilarious. I wore my new hoodie:

On Saturday I was watching my godson and his little brother for 3 hours while their parents run some arrands. They were so cute but having two children under 3 years is alot of work. After this I was off to M's and her boyfriends housewarming party where I was until 4 am. We sand Singstar and partied. What I wore yesterday:

I have my dermatologist appointment tomorrow, I'm so happy~ I hope she can give me some stuff that'll work on my skin cuz I'm really tired of it looking like crap. Hopefully with better skin I won't have to wear tons of make-up everytime I want to leave the house. I already have some scarring though... But I'm still young, I'll get through it! Good night now.

Weekend...

My weekend was fun and relaxing for a change :) Friday S and I met a really cool guy in the taxi queue and we ended up taking the same taxi as our homes were on his way and he payed, thank you random guy~! On Saturday and Sunday I just met up with some friends and hung out, it was fun :)
I've been watching a TV-show from the beginning of the century and it's been interesting to watch clothes etc from that time, I myself was only 11-12 at that time. And some of the clothes are horrible, I can't belive people used to wear golden latex pants, or purple for that matter, eww :D
But I'm tired now so I'm gonna go to bed, bye~

Hey!
Yesterday I went swimming with S and it was so much fun! Hehe, so I'm going again tomorrow :) alone this time, though, because almost all my friends hate swimming :/ Oh well. After that I'm going to the library to study. I have another test coming up in 2 weeks so I have to study hard now.
For the last few days I've been absorbed in a J-drama called Hana yori dango (=Boys over flowers). I've been staying up so late watching it, I was so hooked but now I've watched both seasons so there's only a movie left. I can't believe there isn't any more ;___; I'll actually have to get a life :D
Today was quiz night! We didn't do well this time though... Next time we'll ace it! :)
I'll watch the newest episode of Gossip Girl before I go to bed :)
